Chemistry students at the University of Minnesota, Morris engage in the study of a field of topics highly relevant in today's society. From environmental science and materials synthesis to computational and medicinal chemistry, a chemistry major is a natural bridge to a wide range of careers.
All Morris chemistry and biochemistry courses are taught by faculty who have the highest degree in their field of specialization and who are actively involved in research with undergraduate students.
Morris chemistry faculty works closely with students. In fact, students who seek individual attention are welcome to drop by their professors' offices to get help with coursework and career advice, or just to chat.
Approximately two-thirds of Morris chemistry and biochemistry graduates pursue post-graduate studies in graduate or professional school, including:
